I was 15 minutes late for the show but it took only two minutes for me to guess what all did I miss. Yes, the movie is what you can think of it to be. You do not have to strain your brain to guess what's gonna happen next. 'Predictable' is the word.
Rani Mukherjee and Konkana Sen Sharma are small town girls, who have grown up in not so well-off family in Banaras. To help her family from cases filed against them, Rani arrives in Mumbai to look for a job. When failed, she becomes woman of the street but a classy one. I am sure this was all evident even in the trailors. So, I was not expecting anything more than this and the movie also offered only that much. I was prepared for it so I enjoyed.
The best actor in LCMD is neither Rani nor Konkana but their on-screen mom Jaya Bachchan. Rani was usual rani, nothing different, but on second thoughts, what more can she do? Whether paisa vasool or no? I would say spend your paisa on Bhool Bhulaiya instead of LCMD. Akshay Kumar is the man to watch out for!
