Yes yes. I am a big fan of Shahid Kapoor and everyone who knows me knows that too. I was waiting to see more of him after Jab We Met! I just LOVE him. But that's not the only reason why I liked this flick so much. Or may be, yes :-)
I saw the movie the day it was released and I know I am too late to blog about it, but never mind. I was surprised to read the review by critics next morning. It got only ONE star.. I mean just ONE! It's got everything that our bollywood commercial masala movies have, that too with a tadka.
For people, who believe in destiny, this movie is just dedicated to you. Everything that Shahid did, would fall flat since luck was not in his favor. Though it also says that how much ever hard you work, if luck's not with you, nothing else will support you. Now, I don know how many would agree to that. Vidya Balan was his lucky charm and her mere presence would make a difference.
Haven't come across a concept like this. It did have a novelty value and I really enjoyed watching the movie. Yes, more than Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which got some 3.5 -4 stars. Strange!
Thumbs up: Shahid Kapoor, his dance, his friend - Vishal Malhotra, Music, Story, Location, ok even Vidya Balan, if only she looked a bit younger.
Thumbs down: Vidya Balan's dance, Shahid Kapoor's red coloured bag ;-)
